The Gap

The Gap

My mind is four-thousand,four-hundred,ninty-four miles away
The time is not now its near the end of the day.
My body is here, filling this minimal space
While my thoughts are all off in some far away place.

I know what’s required to keep here and now going
A minimal effort, from momentum that’s rolling
I’m not counting days, because there are too many to number
But each night at around 2ish I awake from my slumber.

For this moment I’ve got enough to remain occupied
But as soon as the gap closes I wont be denied
It’s a chasm of space-time and circumstance
In today’s time I’m alone, in tomorrow’s we dance.
